I’m Inanna Carter

I’ve been an avid reader of romance my whole life. In fact, romance usually revolves around everything I do. TV shows, movies, animes, video games—no romance, no service! I’m trying to branch out, though, I promise.

When I first started reading queer romance books, I got excited! Except, as I read, I noticed a theme: the main issue of the stories was the sexuality itself. This topic is important, and I understand that! But in a world where our rights are regressing, I believe we need more positive, but more importantly, nonchalant, representation now than ever.

For me, characters are always the most important part of anything I write. I grew up reading about (and falling in love with) characters. I mourned over the fact that they weren’t real. And while I still do that, now my goal is to write that too!
